About Pro Life
Pro-Life Fitness Centre opened it's doors at 13 Espedair Street in Paisley in June 1990. Alex Whelan, 7 times Scottish Body Building Champion along with well know Paisley Publican Brian Corkindale (Corkers Bar, Paisley) invested £90,000 in the 3000 square feet state of the art fitness centre. After trading very sucessfully for over 2 years plans were made to build a purpose built centre at New Sneddon Street, Paisley. February 1993 saw the grand opening of the new Pro-Life Centre which was to herald the beginning of what is now one of the leading independant fitness centres in the UK.
To compliment the centre five-a-side football parks were added to the site in June 1995. This side of the business has been advanced to the degree that five parks along with a modern Sports Bar are now on site trading as Five-on-Five.
After 22 years operating in Paisley and with the long list of members that we have helped fulfill their goals along with all the community projects and charity groups, we look forward to the future and to help put Paisley back on the map.
